Foreign Secretary David Lammy Visits MAW to Inspire Young Leaders
On Thursday 6 June, Foreign Secretary and MP for Tottenham David Lammy visited Mulberry Academy Woodside. He met students involved in leadership and enrichment programmes, including the Mulberry STEM Academy, which offers mentorship and industry-led STEM learning; the Mulberry Societies, which focus on academic enrichment and higher education; and Global Girls Leading, which supports young women in leadership.

Year 10s at the cutting-edge of DNA technology
Just before Easter break, some of our Year 10 pupils visited the laboratories of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, stepping into the role of clinical bacteriologists to investigate DNA samples from new outbreaks of bacterial diseases. During this day long workshop, the students used cutting edge DNA technology to learn about the structure of DNA and bacterial evolution.

Cracking the Code – Year 7 & 8 Take on the Easter Egg Trial
In the final week before Easter break, students put their puzzle-solving skills to the test in our Easter Egg Trial. Year 7 and 8, along with some older students, teamed up, after school, in pairs to crack a series of tricky riddles, all in the hopes of winning the grand prize—a giant Easter egg.

Year 9s Explore the Holocaust with VR and Survivor Testimony
In April, sixty Year 9 students took part in a powerful workshop with the Holocaust Educational Trust, using cutting-edge technology to deepen their understanding of history.

Hola España: A Week of Language, Culture and Fun

A Celebration of Community and Togetherness
On Wednesday, 12th March, Mulberry Academy Woodside held a special Iftar gathering, bringing together students, parents, carers, and staff to share in the traditions of Ramadan.
